Gobelins "arts items" (specifically tapestries) are made at the Manufacture des Gobelins in Paris, France. The factory is a historic tapestry manufactory, originally established as a medieval dyeing business by the Gobelin family
The Manufacture des Gobelins is located at 42 avenue des Gobelins in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.
Today, the factory is run by the French Ministry of Culture and continues to produce tapestries using techniques developed in the 17th century. It is also open to the public for guided tours and houses the Galerie des Gobelins, showcasing exhibitions of tapestries and furniture.
